Sony is bringing AI taxi service in Japan

Japanese tech giant Sony is generating AI taxi service in the streets of Japan.

According to a statement, Sony and six local Japanese taxi companies -- Green Cab, International Automobile, Kusumi Transportation, Daiwa Motor Transportation, Checker Cab Radio Cooperative Association, and Hinomaru Transportation will form the new business venture.

The new company Will develope and operate "Dispatch service Application" that will utilize Sony's AI technologies for demand forecasts and similar Services.

Sony Says that, 

      The six companies together control over 10,000 taxis across Tokyo and Beyond and by intergrating AI, customer service Will be improved  by Preparing the necessary number of Taxis when necessary.

      ‎The AI technology is intended to predict demand for taxis to ensure the number of cars are on the street. Though it can be done via calculations but The AI is Accurate and pretty much fast.

         The joint venture will also develop application and related service for using Dispatch services, utilization if taxi data, provision of payment agency services,and daily support services.
