Facebook now developing a Downvote button in Comments for flagging the inappropriate comments from the posts. It will be much like Dislike Button.
Facebook, the biggest social media hub. Almost carrying 1.5 Billion user base the company is the largest social media website we ever witness. Last Time when the users want dislike button Facebook Introduce some funky reactions as Wow, HaHa, Angry etc. Despite not being get the dislike button the users get consolation by Reactions.
Now, the company is testing Downvote button on comments for flagging inappropriate comments on a post. It's not the dislike button the users requested but it's similar to dislike button. But it can be useful for managing inappropriate comments.
When tapped the Downvote button hides s comment and gives users additional reporting options such as "Offensive" , " Misleading" , and " Off Topic". According to Facebook this is a short term that doesn't affect the rank of comment nor the Post or Page.
Dislike Button is not official yet and wouldn't be by Facebook. They gave us some reaction option with some selected Emoji's. But the new Downvote button might be the closest to Dislike button. By pressing this, I'm not only dislike the comment I am also telling Facebook it's offensive or misleading (Options are saying so). It's a great option for disagree with something.
