WhatsApp is working on putting the payment option in the app for easy transaction of money from WhatsApp. This is called WhatsApp payment or Whatsapp Pay.

While transacting money we have a bunch of options like PayPal, Free charge, Google Tez, Paytm, etc. But they need a separate app for do so but, Imagine if you can send and receive money from WhatsApp.

 Yes, WhatsApp is bringing the feature to their App.
The WhatsApp payment option is recently spotted on Whatsapp beta in India. The payment option feature would take advantage of UPI and include support by a number of Banks.

Where To Find Payment option?

The WhatsApp version V2.18.21 on iOS device Will be able to see the option And in the Android version V2.18.41 will able to see the option.
If you not able to see the option don't panic this is the beta feature and some users are getting it.

You can Find  the Payment option in the app by tapping Attachment Button Inside a chat. You will then see more options added with Gallery,Video, Documents. There you'll find the payment option.

The Configuration is As usual as any UPI based payment option. Users first need to verify their phone number via SMS and choose a bank .

After the set-up of configuration they will have an option to send payment. This feature is supported by some Banks in India including SBI, HDFC, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank - A report said.
